- Order information by importance; generators often treat a prompt as a hierarchy.
- Replace adjective piles with musical actions and relationships.
- Include what should remain sparse as well as what should become intense.
- Use one controlled surprise—a rhythmic turn, texture change, or arrangement fakeout—rather than five unrelated twists.

How long should a Suno prompt be?

Should I use an artist name?
It is usually more useful to translate the reference into broad traits: era, tempo, groove, instrumentation, arrangement, vocal role, and production character.
Why do detailed prompts still fail?
